COMBO: Reindeer walk & alpaca walk in forest next to Santa’s Village + visit

Walking with reindeer 30 min + Walking with alpaca 30 min + visit (during opening hours)

How about a walk both with reindeer and alpacas? We offer a fun and fast-paced 30 minutes outing where you get to walk Santa’s reindeer through the forest near Santa Claus Village. You start off with your guide at the Santa’s Pets. You can take all the pictures you want along the way. Then you will walk with our lovely fluffy alpacas for a peaceful 30 min run. The pace is leisurely– they like to stop and nibble on the fruits of the forest – and you can pet them and take all the pictures you want along the way.  You will have a chance to see the other animals on your own. Guests can use our Lapland hut (kota) and campfire/barbecue.

Book through our online store below.  Please take the booking confirmation with you on arrival day.

What happens in a reindeer and alpaca experience?

You arrive at the office of Santa’s Pets where you show your ticket. The activity will start on site. There may be other customers at the activity at the same time, so please arrive on time because others cannot wait. After your safety briefing, we’ll pair you up with a reindeer or alpacas. You walk with both the alpacas and the reindeer. Whichever comes first depending on the situation.
You will be always accompanied by a guide.

Who can take part?

Our reindeer walk experience is not suitable for children aged under 10. The reason for the age limit is children’s safety. Reindeer antlers can be sharp and large, and they could hit children in the eyes, for example. We advise parents of younger children to look at Santa’s Pets visit instead. Everyone else taking part should be capable of walking a fair distance over bumpy and often muddy ground. And in the winter in the snowy ground.

We don’t recommend alpaca walking for small children. The ground is unsuitable for pushchairs.

Can I see other animals with the same ticket?

Yes. The entrance ticket to the park is included in the price. Walking with the reindeer and alpacas are at a specific time but the entrance ticket is valid all day from 11am to 6pm. You can meet all the animals.

Which tickets do I need?

Please choose an appropriate age ticket. Alpacas are herd animals and won’t walk alone. You can reserve a ticket for one person, but if there are not at least 2 participants, the event will be canceled. Please choose an appropriate age ticket.

What should I do if not everyone in my family wants to participate in the walk?

You can book them for entrance tickets. They can spend time in the area watching other animals, enjoying drinks in the hut, etc.

Do all participants need a ticket?

Yes.

Can children walk alone?

No. All children must be always accompanied and supervised by a fully paying adult. A 10–15-year-old can usually walk a reindeer. However, the guide will assess this on a case-by-case basis. Safety comes first.
Children aged 10-15 can walk their own alpaca but must be accompanied by a fully paid adult walking their own alpaca.

Do I need a ticket if I don’t want my own reindeer or alpaca?

Yes. Each participant of experience needs a ticket.

Do I need a ticket if I just want to accompany and take photos?

Yes. Each participant of experience needs a ticket.

How many reindeer will we get?

1 reindeer/2 adult. 2 reindeer/3 adults. 2 reindeer/4 adults or more. 1 reindeer/ 2 adult and 1 child. 1-2 reindeer/2 adults and 2 children.

What if I would like to come in a large group?
