Summer at Santa’s Pets is full of atmosphere. You can visit different animals such as alpacas and reindeer and offer them their favourite treat, lichen. You can also go for walks with the reindeer and alpacas. NEW: Hang out with alpacas!
NEW: Hanging out with alpacas 15 min plus visit of Santa’s Pets
Enter the alpacas’ enclosure, feed them treats, take photos and enjoy 15 minutes together with the alpacas. The experience also includes a one-day entrance ticket to Santa’s Pets, allowing you to visit the other animals during opening hours.
Alpaca Walks
We offer unforgettable outings where you can walk our alpacas through the forest near Santa's Village. Your journey begins with your elf guide at Santa's Pets, and the pace is relaxed and leisurely.
Winter Season in Santa's Pets

We offer exciting outings where you can walk our reindeer through the forest near Santa Claus Village. Choose between a 30-min or 60-min reindeer walk, or combine the experience with an alpaca walk for an unforgettable adventure.

VILLA ARCTIC RIVER
Follow the construction and completion of our new cosy holiday house, Villa Arctic River. It will be available for rent from autumn 2026. Located 16 km from Santa Claus Village, the villa will be completed in summer, followed by landscaping, construction of the kota & final finishing work.

Visit Santa’s Pets at the Arctic Circle in Rovaniemi every day
Meet reindeer, alpacas and other lovely animals!
In Santa Claus Village at the Arctic Circle, you are welcome to meet Santa’s Pets (Finnish: Tallitontun piha) with reindeer, alpacas, donkeys, sheep, goats, rabbits and different birds (in winter only chickens). You can watch domestic animals in their daily activities under arctic conditions and, best of all, you can feed reindeer! Kids love them and they love kids!
Winter fun: coasting down the little hill on site! All the equipment you need is provided. During the winter, even your littlest family members can have fun on our snow slides.
Guests can also use our Lapland hut (kota) & campfire / barbecue. This is included in the entrance fee. Buy snacks and drinks from the elves’ store. No advance booking is needed for visits.
